About Vital Signs

How we got started – 2005

Vital Signs opened in 2005 by Josh Palmer, a Webster, NY native, who developed knowledge and a strong passion for sign making, vehicle wraps, and designing attractive and professional graphics for local businesses and organizations. Having a vision for a sign company of his own, and using his sign and wide format printing experience, Josh started Vital Signs, offering a variety of wide format advertising solutions such as interior and exterior signs, vehicle graphics and wraps, vinyl window lettering, A-frame signs, banners, yard signs, vinyl decals and much more. 

Growing pains – 2017

In 2017, due to lightning growth and success in attracting new business the need for a larger facility became evident. Employing more staff and needing more space for new printing equipment, Vital Signs had outgrown their office and wrap installation bays, so Vital Signs commissioned the development of a new corporate headquarters to to keep up with its growth and volume. 

Growth accelerates – 2018-2024

In June 2018, Vital Signs moved their operation into their brand-new, state-of-the-art 15,000 sq. ft. company headquarters, located at 764 Ridge Rd., in Webster, NY – right next door to their former location. In addition to a new facility, Amy Catalano joined ranks with Palmer, becoming co-owner of Vital Signs, and parent company Palmer Graphic Solutions, LLC. This partnership combines decades of experience and leadership in the large format marketing field, and together continues to expand company capabilities and tailor to large exterior and interior signage projects.

The addition of Amy Catalano as co-owner, added Women Owned Business status by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the gold standard for women-owned business certification.

Now and in the future 

Today, Vital Signs employs 18 team members consisting of sales/administrative, design, production, fabrication and installation roles. Our 3-bay+ vehicle graphics installation facility is climate controlled, has bright LED lighting and a roof covered in slar panels, and provides enough space to wrap (4) 53ft tractor trailers. 

Our company has encountered consideralable growth designing, fabricating and installing large exterior and interior sign projects, and is expected to double in volume in 2025 and solidify our company as a top player in the local sign industry.
